City Wide Security Systems Inc. was founded back in November, 1992 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Vancouver company installed home and business security systems, closed circuit TV surveillance systems (CCTV) and access control systems. The company was selected by the British Columbia government to install office security and panic alarms for all the MLA’s across British Columbia in the wake of a rash of MLA office break-ins. The Vancouver office won many outstanding merit awards for excellence in performance and assistance to senior citizens with the company’s unique “life-alert” type of medical wireless wristwatch.

The Company opened an office in Calgary, Alberta in 2006. This office originally operated as a Voxcom authorized dealer and soon became one of the largest dealers in Western Canada and the 8th largest dealer across Canada out of 156 Voxcom dealers. The company recently switched to the ADT dealer program after Voxcom got bought out by another company.

ADT is the largest alarm company in the world with offices and service centers in every city and country in the world. ADT has 7 monitoring centers throughout North America which act as redundancy centers in case of emergencies at any of the other centers. ADT monitoring centers are rated level 5 diamond, the highest rating possible.

City Wide Security Systems Inc. will be opening offices in Red Deer, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Regina, Saskatchewan within the next 6 months.
